Tony orders Christopher and Furio dispose of the body at Satriale's, using the meat cutter and knives to dismember the body. The official reason Tony gives for his dissapearance is that Richie was an FBI Informant and went into the Witness Protection Program.

    Ralph's son was hospitalized following a serious injury in 2003. Soon after Pie-O-My was killed in a stable fire which Tony believes Ralph was responsible for. Ralph was unexpectedly strangled and killed by a furious Tony after refusing to confess, yet defending the act of setting a fire to collect the insurance money on the horse to pay the hospital bills, suggesting that he may have been responsible.

Phil knew of Benny's friendship with Chris and position as driver to Tony. Tony, feeling guilty about Benny's fractured skull, offered to get him "made" once he recovered.

Chris maintained a turbulent relationship with Adriana, however, after he learned that she was an FBI informant, he turned to Tony rather than accept her plea to join her. Tony sent Silvio to execute her. Chris later relapsed into heroin use.

    Chris and Paulie's bad blood resurfaces when Chris embarrasses Paulie in front of the Capos with the "Pine Barrens" story, stating that Paulie was the cause of the foul up. This caused much tension but they "bury the hatchet". Paulie also got into a dispute with Feech La Manna over their rival landscaping companies. They both resort to violently assaulting the other's gardeners. This serves to highlight Feech's insubordination.

Johnny Sack becomes boss and demands that Tony give up Tony B or else risk war. Tony refused and this decision caused much tension within his own family and his leadership skills come into question.
